Matcha Kombucha Energizer

OK, I know it’s almost the end of August (sorry for the reminder), but we just found the perfect summer drink. Matcha and Kombucha are two of our favourite things. We may have never thought of combining them until we had this drink from O5 Rare Tea Bar in Kits. We thought this was genius, so decided to try it at home. We used Toronto-based Matcha Ninja’s Cold Brew Matcha and our favourite GT’s Kombucha. We especially love this brand for its low sugar content compared to other kombucha brands.

We’re huge fans of matcha for its ability to promote a relaxed, but alert and focused feeling. We also love kombucha because it’s great for digestive health. Basically, this is the perfect drink. Here is the recipe for our perfect summer drink. Enjoy!

Matcha Kombucha Energizer

The perfect refreshing and health-promoting summer drink. 

Servings: 1
  • 1/2 tsp matcha (we used Ninja Cold Brew)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 8 ounces kombucha of choice (any flavour works, we love the ginger one)
  1. Blend matcha and water for a few seconds, and pour over ice.

  2. Add in kombucha, stir and enjoy.
