Today we're talking all about medical-grade facial Today we're talking all about medical-grade facials with the founder of Vancouver's recently opened @plainjaneskinbar. Over the last 10 years, Amberly Donnelly has developed a simple routine of scientifically-proven facials combined with medical-grade skincare, which has transformed her own damaged skin into bright, vibrant, and healthy skin. Knowing women in Vancouver would benefit from this kind of easy, straightforward routine, she created Plain Jane Skinbar to provide an accessible option, not only from a price perspective but also in terms of treatment time and downtime.

COLD PLUNGING. Have you done it? Did you hate it? COLD PLUNGING. Have you done it? Did you hate it? Did you love it? I've been meaning to try it forever but did not imagine my first experience to be in January, in a lake, while it snowed.

Cold plunging is a great exercise of separating your mind's limitations and limiting beliefs from what your body is actually capable of withstanding. It was an interesting experience to feel my body start to relax while simultaneously freaking out about the freezing temperature of the water. While for me the result was mostly painfully frozen hands and feet, it's always nice to challenge yourself to something outside of your comfort zone. Definitely open to trying it again, but maybe next time not in the dead of winter. 🥶
