I eat salad almost everyday, so I’m always looking for new ways to spice up my favorite lunch staple. And what’s the easiest way to do that? Dressing of course!
Whether you’re looking for something Asian inspired or rich and creamy, these 5 super simple salad dressings will satisfy all of your salad needs. The best part is that they’re all made using Everland kitchen staples and only 5 ingredients or less. Plus the instructions for each are simple – combine in a magic bullet or simply whisk in a small bowl. Use immediately or store for later use (that is, if you have any extra!)
MISO MUSTARD VINAIGRETTE
A salty sweet umami mixture that goes great with bitter and peppery leafy greens
- 3 tbsp white miso paste
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 3 tbsp dijon mustard
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp olive oil
ALMOND BUTTER TAMARI
Inspired by a traditional peanut sauce, this creamy concoction stands up to heartier veggies like broccoli and shaved brussel sprouts
- ¼ c almond butter
- 2 tbsp tamari
- 1 tbsp. honey
- 2 tbsp. rice vinegar
- 1-3 tbsp. sesame oil
SPICY GINGER SOY
Perfect for those who like a little more heat with their greens
- ¼ c olive oil
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 ½ tbsp. fresh ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp. rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp. chili oil
CHEEZY TAHINI
Nutritional yeast is the secret to this cheezy sauce that pairs well with…well, pretty much anything
- ¼ c tahini
- 2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 3 tbsp. nutritional yeast
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 – 3 tbsp. water (to thin)
VEGAN CESAR
Add this Parmesan and egg free cesar dressing to a bed of kale and crushed up cashews for a nutrient rich take on a classic cesar salad
